| Tired of the same ol’ aerobic
dance classes? Spice it up with a little bit of Rumbasize.
This is not your mother’s
aerobic class. It’s rumbasize, and it’s all about fun…and sweat…and more
fun. Here’s what three students told me about their class.
“You sweat, everything hurts
the next day, you have a lot of fun.”
“It puts me in a great mood
and I get all of aggressions out when I come back from work at night.
“It’s fantastic, you have
to try it.
So I stepped in to Columbian
instructor Beto Perez’ calss. Beto speaks little English…but his
class understands him perfectly. I asked Beto why should we take
rumbasize? He told me “it’s fun, it teaches you how to dance and
it works your abs.”
“Beto’s abs get quite a
workout in this class that’s all self-expression…freedom to move in ways
maybe you normally wouldn’t…while learning the latest Latin dance moves…moves
that can easily transfer over to the dance floor after you leave the class.
But just because you’re
having fun, doesn’t mean you aren’t getting some serious fitness benefits.
