Don’t be embarrassed to ask your waiter specific questions about your order, like how is it prepared, is there butter, is there cream sauce in there, how big is the portion,

Let’s take a look at two of America’s favorite foods—Chinese & Italian. First, the red flags for Italian.

Well you wanna try to stay away from words like parmesian, you could take something like eggplant, which is really innocent, and it’s breaded and deep fried, and then they put lots of Parmesian cheese on it, which is not a healthy choice. 04:17:37

Carbonara, alfredo, ravioli and lasagna are also red flags.

Some of the good things you want to look for are pomodoro sauces, primavera sauce, puttanesca sauce. 18:34

And marinara sauce is also a great choice.
Bk: So what if we want to go a Chinese restaurant?
Sot Therese: Well you wanna try to stay away from lo mein noodles or chow mein noodles because they’re deep fried first.
Sot Therese
Moo-Shu, sweet and sour, those are two key terms I would stay away from on the Chinese menu.
Bk: Why?
Therese: They’re deep fried first and they have lots of oil in them.

And now for the good stuff. Szechuan, Stir-fry, and even Kung Pao, in spite of its earlier bad rap.
