If you only have twenty minutes to workout on a given day, you can still
get a lot accomplished if you choose the right cardio equipment. Bally
trainer Tasha Williams ranks her top three picks.
I would say the first, the treadmill, cuz you do burn the most calories
on the treadmill.
Although it varies for each individual, it’s tough the beat the treadmill
for total caloric expenditure, when comparing it to other exercises done
for thirty minutes at a moderate intensity. Tasha’s second recommendation
is the elliptical cross-trainer with arm bars, as you’re using your upper
and lower body. Her third choice—the stair climber, done properly, with
good form.
As you step, you want to think about contracting your buttox and your
legs to get the most effective workout. Keep your abs in nice and tight,
